Welcome to Carmel Artists

Discover Carmel-by-the-Sea's current art scene, as well as prominent artists that were part of California's earliest artist colony.  We feature fine art galleries that promote the work of local Carmel artists, both past & present, as well as other artists that painted and resided on the Monterey Peninsula for a number of years.

We invite you to discover picturesque Carmel-by-the-Sea and its natural surroundings through the eyes of notable Carmel artists.  Ocean Avenue caputured in time in a oil painting by Victor Di Gesu, the Monterey cypress through the eyes of Judith Deim in her 1939 painting, "Coast Woman", the breathtaking Big Sur coastline as depicted by Louise Fisher MacDougall and various abstract pieces by longtime Carmel artist, Dick Crispo are just some examples of the influential role that the Monterey Bay area landscape played in the lives of numerous nationally and internationally renown artists.

Own a piece of Carmel history that will give you years of visual enjoyment.  Invest in your life with quality art!
